Register your event
The most important thing to do is participate in NAICD and organise an event
- See what others are doing and have done for children's day
- Get some resources, activity ideas, posters etc
- Tips on doing media for NAICD
The event can be as simple as organising special Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander art activities, to inviting an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Elder to share stories with the children in your service, to holding a barbecue or a family day at the park.
Make NAICD something you focus on each year to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children.
