NAICD advertisement for 2011 goes to air on community TV and YouTube

On a shoe-string budget SNAICC produced a 60 second ad for NAICD that has aired on channel 31 in Melbourne, YouTube, Facebook and NITV. View the clips and show your support on YouTube and Facebook.

NAICD 2011 Launch - Lulla's Children & Family Centre, Shepparton

The national launch of NAICD 2011 will be held in Shepparton on Thursday, 4 August. We are expecting members from the local Koori community in Shepparton and other parts of Victoria to attend the national launch, as well as around 60 local Koori children.  We have also invited a number of Federal, state and local government members. The full report of the day and photos will be on the website next week.

Djooraminda wil be celerating National Aboriginal and Islander Children's Day with children. Activities for the afternoon will include craft, cooking, plus other fun activities.

Families as First Teachers at Kalkaringi / Daguragu communities- NAICD - From Small to Big

Families as First Teachers at Kalkaringi / Daguragu communities run a playgroup each morning of the school term and we involve the parents with education on various topics. Our playgroup have invited Elders from Kalkaringi and Daguragu communities to spend some with us at Playgroup, to share their stories with us and we can show them what we do within our playgroup.
