SNAICC has made its response to the federal government's public discussion paper on the National Child Protection Framework.
In late May, the Federal Government released its discussion paper Australia’s Children: safe and well – A national framework for protecting Australia’s children, and called for public comment on the paper to assist in the development of a National Child Protection Framework.
All public comments and responses to the discussion paper were due to be sent to FaHCSIA by 30 June 2008.
SNAICC's Response Paper is also available on the Submissions page of our website.
SNAICC's Response Paper includes three Attachments or Appendixes:

Attachment B. Principles for justice in child well-being and protection: An effective child well-being and protection system (Also available online here)
Attachment C. Proposed initiatives to support the implementation of a National Child Protection Framework (based on SNAICC's 2008 Federal Budget submission, also available online)
